There are 3 major classifications of charging options for electric vehicles, Levels 1, 2, and 3. Residential charging typically involves a Level 1 or a Level 2 charger. Our team will help you decide which charger is right for you based on your parking requirements, power availability, and budget.

Level 1 Car Charging

Your new electric vehicle will most likely be supplied with a standard Level 1 charger that plugs into an ordinary wall outlet. Unfortunately, the charge time for a full battery is 24-48 hours with non-stop charging.

Level 2 Car Charging

Level 2 chargers are 5-10 times faster than a Level 1 and are currently the best option for efficient charging at home. Using 240V of power, the same amount as a household clothes dryer, they can fully charge most EVs in an 8-12 hour period.

DC Fast Charger

These chargers use 480V, a 3-phase power to quickly charge your electric vehicle. This reduces charging time to under an hour in most cases. Level 3 chargers are very expensive and require large amounts of power, making them more practical for charging while traveling than at home.
